Delivery Information

Deliveries will occur from Mondays to Fridays in all major city centers, including Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, East London, Johannesburg, and Pretoria, by our nationwide couriers via express delivery.

Deliveries to any other areas may take up to 5 days from the date of dispatch. Custom-made orders require up to 5 days’ notice to process before dispatch. Please ensure that your orders are placed in a timely manner.

Orders required for a specific date may be placed up to 1 month in advance, with a minimum of 5 days’ notice. Daniela’s does not deliver on Good Friday, 25th and 26th December, or 1st January.

To assist our courier, please include the recipient’s cell phone number to ensure that orders are delivered on the first attempt.

As most of our orders are gifts, we do not enclose invoices with deliveries. If you would like a tax invoice emailed to you, please request this in the additional information/comments section.

PLEASE NOTE: While we’ll do our best to ensure the delivery of your macarons at your preferred time and date by flagging our parcels, instructing our couriers, and following up on all tracking data, we cannot guarantee prompt delivery at a specific time on a certain date, as we rely on 3rd Party couriers for our deliveries.

Please allow an additional day’s notice for processing during peak gifting periods, such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Eid, and Christmas.

For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. If no one is in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products and leave a notice at the delivery address to this effect. The driver will attempt to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should the same be required. Our liability for failing to deliver the products timeously is limited to delivery being effected at a later agreed time at no additional charge. Please arrange for you or your authorised representative to be available to accept your purchases at the delivery address, and ensure that appropriate access will be made available. Upon delivery, we will require you or your authorised representative to sign and print your or their name on a duplicate copy of the delivery note to confirm receipt. We have outsourced all delivery and collection arrangements. Accordingly, we cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the deliverer, its directors, employees, subcontractors, agents, representatives, and/or affiliates.

We deliver to the recipient’s physical address (specified in the delivery address area) throughout South Africa. The cost per delivery is R 150.00 (including VAT) to a maximum of 5 kg. When an order is placed, and the weight exceeds 5 kg, we will automatically contact you to discuss delivery costs and options. Corporate orders will be considered independently to offer the best cost price.

Once your order has been accepted, if required, we will email you a tracking number, allowing you to follow the progress of your gift box.

Delivery to hospitals, maternity wards, nursing homes, government buildings, etc., will be made to the relevant reception area.
